Two updates of note.
First, last week my mom went the doctor who "rolled his eyes" at her and told her to come back in a year. YAY!!!
Second, and on similarly cheery note (literally), I woke to the "chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, cheeeeee" of Mr. Cardinal. Looks like he's set up shop for the time being in the backyard tree. It sure makes for a lovely workday, as I have been listening to him serenade the neighbourhood with quite the eager concert all afternoon so far. (I gather that he took a break post-wake up call for a worm tidbit.)
Pretty good for a Monday, eh?
